Multi-Radiance Super Pulsed Cold Laser
“LaserStim is a FDA-cleared device combining neurological electrical stimulation and laser in a single probe. Treatment Area Recognition and Guidance Enhanced Technology™ (TARGET) provides pain relief by constantly scanning tissue to quickly locate areas needing treatment and automatically giving the proper dose of super pulsed laser (“MFR Laserstim,” 2020. Description).” Super pulsing allows for deeper penetration than a laser of the same wavelength that is not super pulsed but has the same average output power. This happens because short pulses allow for quick absorption. In addition, the period between pulses promotes a better environment for optimal pain relief.

Vasopneumatic Cold Compression (Game Ready)
Game Ready is a machine created by CoolSystems, Inc. that integrates the use of deep penetrating cold and compression together. This helps draw heat and swelling away from the injury site, providing constant cooling to minimize secondary tissue damage and facilitate tissue healing. Game Ready is indicated for patients that are recovering from surgical procedures, acute injury, or have increased edema that may affect motion or outcome of a treatment session.
Blood Flow Restriction Training
BFR training involves decreasing blood flow to activating muscle groups for strengthening purposes. The goal is to increase strength through lifting lighter loads, which reduces the overall stress placed on the limb. Because BFR training allows individuals to train at much lower intensities with similar benefits of higher intensity training, it can be highly useful for atrophy prevention. Patient populations that would receive the most benefit include postoperative (especially ACL reconstruction), sedentary, or bedridden patients.
Orthotic Molding + Assessment
Orthotics are designed to assist in foot function, which helps with performance and pain relief. Creating better mechanics when the foot hits the ground typically results in greater efficiencies when we walk. This may help with reducing symptoms in other areas of the body, not just the foot. In the clinic, we provide semi-custom, heat moldable orthotics which allow for personalization of rear foot control. This comes at a lower cost than paying the price of a custom orthotic.
